Library Introdution Letter
Hi –
I am reaching out on behalf of Echoes & Footprints as a [board member, volunteer]. We deliver engaging immersive workshops that convey the impact of the African polyrhythms on the music of the Americas.
I want an opportunity to share our approach to “The Beat is the History.” Also, I wish to discuss potential timelines for engagements in concert with your library’s objectives and activities.
Our approach focuses on the intersection of three key themes—history of the diaspora, geography, and human expression. Furthering the immersive experience, our approach also includes a hands-on collection of 30+ vintage and contemporary musical instruments connected to the music of the Americas.
